When President Trump chose Saudi Arabia for his first overseas presidential visit in May last year most Saudis were delighted. They hadn’t much cared for his predecessor, Barack Obama. He was never that interested in the Middle East, they reckoned, and his legacy nuclear deal with Iran was a bad one in their eyes.
But Donald Trump was a man they could do business with. He lifted the Obama-era curbs on weapons sales for the war in Yemen, he refrained from lecturing them on human rights and he seemed happy for his son-in-law Jared Kushner to forge an exceptionally close working relationship with Saudi Arabia’s all powerful Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
Actions follow each other quickly maybe to assure that nothing lasts as its first birth. Saudi Arabia witnesses continuous unbelievable circumstances with no explicit evidences or procedures.
For recent news, and particularly after the murder of the Saudi Arabia journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul- Turkey, the circle has changes its path. Regarding to Mr. Erdogan, he believes that the murder is an invisible well-planned strategy and it was not by mistake or accidently. The main plot is absent and its faraway factors. No answers for the most important investigation questions and no immediate claims are clear enough to think that the murder process was arranged very well to be achieved in Turkey.
I think that Saudi Arabia is losing its control and power. It is just a matter of time. How such a state changes its speeches according to its victim- as should be at least-? No justification could end the matter. Based on BBC News, “Saudi Arabia has said that journalist Jamal Khashoggi was killed at its consulate in Istanbul as part of a “rogue operation” by Saudi agents who had nothing to do with the powerful Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.”
Saudi Arabia implies a huge secret behind such a murder, and unfortunately the results will not be positive for their sides once Turkish government asks the United States for a full investigation in this issue. All technical services have been lost and closed and this will complicates the situation from worse to the worst.
The main problem is yet coming, which is a political bribery that has been issued from the crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman. The end of his honeymoon is knocking the doors. Neither Erdogan nor any other state will accept the end of the murder issue before finding the main object of such a process. No one will accept money and investment ignoring the dead body and the unseen details. All international attitudes are changing and concerning of this matter.
